Tom Brady was born on August 3, 1977 in San Mateo, California. He attended Junípero Serra High School in San Mateo, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. Despite not being heavily recruited out of high school, Brady accepted a scholarship to play football at the University of Michigan.
At Michigan, Brady was a backup quarterback for the first two years before becoming the starting quarterback in his junior year. He led the Wolverines to a share of the Big Ten Conference title in 1997 and was named team captain in his senior year.
Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He became the starting quarterback in his second season and went on to have a successful career with the Patriots, winning six Super Bowl championships and earning numerous accolades, including multiple MVP awards.
In his early years in the NFL, Brady was known for his work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to perform in clutch situations. He quickly established himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the league and is now considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
